Challenge

"People's Law Daily" firm contracted Anuaris to create a Ecommerce Magazine with digital products(.pdf files). They provided Web page designs approved by the local authorities employees, as well as the website’s functional requirements.

The requirements:

  • The web shop is supposed to sell digital products,
  • The web shop should show the customer a list of products and for each product a page with detailed info about this product,
  • There must be a “shopping cart” to which the customer is able to add products to,
  • The web shop must accept credit card payment and PayPal,
  • The web shop must accept invoice payment,
  • The web shop must push the payment data to the billing system,
  • The complete purchase history of a customer must be saved,
  • The web shop should save the user’s favorite payment method and details,
  • There should be a way to grant customers discounts on certain products if certain conditions are met,
  • User reviews for any product with 5-star rating system,
  • The web shop must be fully capable of being integrated into a Drupal 7 website,
  • The web shop must be compatible with the use of https,
  • Before the purchase of a customer is processed, links to the privacy policy and terms of service must be displayed and the customer must accept both,
  • The web shop must be able to apply taxes to the products a customer likes to purchase. These taxes however must be calculated basing on several factors.

Solution

Anuaris development team used CMS Drupal 7 and built backend and frontend parts for this project. Photoshop mockups were created and approved, all programming and customization was performed by our team.

These project included:

  • Drupal 7.5 and Ubercart ecommerce shop with 50+ modules
  • PHP, HTML 5, CSS 3, JQuery, Semantic Code, Valid Coding
  • Bootstrap Responsive framework 3.3+, Cross Browser Compatibility, Mobile Friendly, Custom mobile menu
  • All Ubercart order pages are overridden with custom template files and using theme functions(shopping cart, checkout, order preview, etc.)
  • All user account pages are overridden with custom template files including login and create account pages

This is an exciting open source e-commerce shopping cart that fully integrates in online store with Drupal, the leading open source content management system. This is a killer combination for anyone looking to build a community around a product.
